Parents whose children racked up charges for unauthorized in-app purchases through Amazon will be getting some money back from the retail giant.
The Federal Trade Commission made the announcement on Tuesday revealing Amazon will be forking over a reported $70 million.
This brings to close a nearly three-year legal battle pertaining to unauthorized charges made by children between November 2011 and May 2015. The legal battle claimed Amazon made it too easy for children to make the purchases.
If you are eligible for a refund you should have already received an email from Amazon.
