He may be linked to the catchphrase “I’ll be back” but for Arnold Schwarzenegger that won’t be the case with The New Celebrity Apprentice.
According to the Terminator star and ex-governor of California “baggage” is behind his decision to leave the show.
“I loved every second of working with NBC and Mark Burnett,” Arnold said in a statement. “Everyone – from the celebrities to the crew to the marketing department – was a straight 10 and I would absolutely work with all of them again on a show that doesn’t have this baggage.”
Arnold later revealed to Empire magazine the baggage he alluded to was President Trump.

For his part Trump took to his favorite media outlet – Twitter – to set his side of the record straight, tweeting “Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to a great show.”
