First All-Female Space Walk Scheduled to Take Place

An all-women team consisting of two U.S. astronauts and 1 Canadian flight controller are set to take part in the first ever all-female space walk.


According to USA Today, NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Christina Koch will join Canadian Space Agency flight controller Kristen Facciol on March 29th for the historic event.


McClain and Koch will conduct the space walk as part of the Exhibition 59 crew at the International Space Station with Facciol serving as console at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.
