First Lady Michelle Obama joined late night host James Corden for “Carpool Karaoke” on The Late Late Show where she channeled her inner Beyonce and Stevie Wonder.

During the segment, which aired on Wednesday, she received a surprise appearance from singer Missy Elliot. The trio sang and rapped along to her hit song, “Get Ur Freak On.”

During the ride along, “This Is For My Girls,” took over the speakers, a song intended to promote full access to education worldwide. Mrs. Obama explained the importance of the song, intended to bring awareness to an issue and organization close to her heart called Let Girls Learn. The initiative was launched last year by the first lady and President Barack Obama to address the barriers that keep more than 62 million girls around the world out of school.

“So much could be corrected in the world if girls were educated and had power over their lives. My message to kids here is, don’t take your education for granted, because there are girls around the world who would die to get the education that we have. They would do anything. They would move mountains to make it happen.”
