The fundraiser is the brainchild of former president George H.W. Bush, who was due to celebrate his library’s 20th anniversary this month.
Instead he turned the event into a musical fundraiser, supported by Texas A&M University.
The “Deep From the Heart” show will feature musical acts from country legends such as The Gatlin Brothers, Lyle Lovett, Alabama and many more. Best of all, the concert will be attended by all living former-presidents; Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
“It’s important that those affected by these devastating storms know that, even if the path to recovery feels like a road that goes on forever, we’re with them for the long haul,” revealed the 41st president.
The concert will take place on October 21, with ticket prices ranging from $30 to $600.
David Jones, CEO of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation revealed, “100 cents of every dollar we raise through ticket sales for our “Deep From the Heart” show will go to our designated hurricane recovery funds.”
