Fox News has cancelled an ad requesting viewers to sign a petition to impeach President Trump.
Wealthy Democratic donor Tom Steyer purchased the advertising slots on Fox, but the network has decided to pull the ads due to negative feedback from Fox viewers.
According to a statement from Fox, their decision to cancel the ad was “due to the strong negative reaction to their ad by our viewers, we could not in good conscious take their money.”

Steyer took to Twitter following Fox’s decision, tweeting, “Fox News trying to silence the 1.7 million who have already signed our impeachment petition.”
Steyer’s legal team have accused Fox News of breaching its contract to air the ads.
