It’s time to move on after eight years in the White House and Michelle Obama posted some sentimental memories on social media, reflecting on her time as First Lady.

Posing on the White House stairs alongside dogs Bo and Sunny, Michelle thanked everyone for the birthday wishes – she turned 53 on January 17 – writing, “Thank you for the birthday wishes and for the greatest gift of all: the opportunity to serve as your First Lady.”

Michelle also posted a very sentimental video to Twitter, captioned “Taking it in on one last walk through the People’s House.”
As the Trump family begin to make the White House their new home for the next four years, the Obama’s are not moving too far away from Pennsylvania Avenue. They will be renting a nine bedroom home about 2 miles away from the White House.
