The Trump family donned their protective eyewear at first to view the eclipse, but despite warnings from experts and his daughter to not look directly at the sun, the president momentarily removed his solar eclipse glasses to take a look – and naturally Twitter erupted!

If you also tried to view the eclipse with your naked eye doctors say seek medical attention if you are experiencing extreme headaches, sensitivity to light, eye pain and vision problems. Be aware though that symptoms may not occur immediately and can occur weeks after viewing the eclipse.
