President Trump’s daughter-in-law Vanessa Trump was briefly hospitalized after opening a package which contained a suspicious white powder substance.

According to Reuters, Vanessa complained of nausea after opening the package and was taken to hospital. The substance was later found to be non-hazardous.

“The substance had arrived by mail and was addressed to Donald Trump Jr.,” New York Police Department spokesperson Carlos Nieves told the press.

Trump Jr. took to Twitter condemning the “truly disgusting” behavior, tweeting, “Thankful that Vanessa & my children are safe and unharmed after the incredibly scary situation that occurred this morning. Truly disgusting that certain individuals choose to express their opposing views with such disturbing behavior.”

According to Reuters, white powder, which was also found to be non-hazardous, was sent to President Trump’s youngest son Eric in 2016.

Ivanka Trump also took to Twitter expressing concern for her sister-in-law, tweeting, “No one deserves to be frightened this way. There is no excuse.”
