Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders was victorious in Wisconsin on Tuesday, winning the state’s Democratic primary against rival Hillary Clinton.
The win adds to his sixth victory in a row against the former Secretary of State. Despite having momentum amidst the campaign trail, Sanders still trails by a large number of delegates compared to Clinton.
Although he has his work cut out ahead of him, he remained confident in his belief he will become the next Democratic presidential candidate of the United States. During his victory speech, the Vermont senator vowed, “We’re going to win this election if we can keep our momentum going.”
