Bianna Golodryga is going to have to start setting her alarm clock a lot earlier after joining CBS This Morning as a co-host.

Golodryga has appeared on the show numerous times as a reporter and has served as a guest host on occasion.

“Viewers know us as the real news destination in the morning – which is why Bianna is the perfect addition to our team,” CBS News president David Rhodes said in a statement. “We are so fortunate to have her curiosity and global perspective on every broadcast of “CBS This Morning.”

Forty-year-old Golodryga was born in the former Soviet Union with her family moving to Texas when she was just eighteen-months-old as political refugees. She joins current co-hosts Gayle King, Norah O’Donnell and John Dickerson on the morning show.

“CBS has the best morning news team in the business,” Golodryga said in a statement. “It’s an honor to be joining Gayle, Norah and John and everyone at CTM as we continue to do what CBS News does best – reporting on issues that matter to our viewers, along with enterprising, smart and objective storytelling.”
