Ivanka Trump revealed the one resolution she is determined to implement in 2018 – more sleep.

The busy mom and White House advisor took to Twitter, telling followers, “New Year resolution, sleep more.”

Ivanka attached a link to a USA Today article, which talks about how detrimental lack of sleep can be for people – even revealing we may only be able to survive for 11 days without sleep!

The article, written by brain scientist Jeff Stibel, recommends we all get a good, solid 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night – not 5, or 6 hours, even if you think that works for you. Failing to get the recommended 7 hours of sleep per night can result in “chronic fatigue, confusion, poor decision-making, irritability, headaches, weight gain, depression and heart disease. Sleep deprivation has also been linked to Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other long-term degenerative brain diseases.”

“So next time you start thinking about how to better yourself, improve productivity or stay ahead of the herd,” the article advises, “lose the bravado and just go to bed.”

Now that’s a resolution we should all get on board with!
