The days leading up to Meghan Markle’s royal nuptials have had their fair share of drama. Her father, Thomas Markle Sr., will reportedly not attend the wedding with TMZ reporting he will undergo heart surgery this week and therefore will not be physically able to walk his daughter down the aisle.

This news comes after the Daily Mail and TMZ revealed the sweet pictures seemingly captured of Mr. Markle reading up on British history at his local Starbucks were a paid set-up with a paparazzi. Britain’s Daily Express newspaper are reporting the Queen is “very angry” with Meghan’s father for selling staged pictures of himself, with a source telling the paper, “Lord Chamberlain, Her Majesty and the Duke, are very angry with Meghan’s father,” and vow to speak to him about “royal protocol.”

On a happier note, the palace has released the names of the adorable children making up the Bridesmaids and Page Boys for the royal wedding. Not surprisingly Prince Harry’s niece and nephew will be part of the bridal party.

In an official announcement, the palace revealed, “Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have chosen the following Bridesmaids and Page Boys for their wedding on Saturday 19th May.”
