With just a couple of months to go until she walks down the aisle to marry Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has made her first official appearance with Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II.

Meghan attended the Commonwealth Day celebration, which honors the 53 nations that make up the Commonwealth, together with Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

The event was held at Westminster Abbey in London, where Meghan – decked out in an off-white coat by U.K. fashion designer Amanda Wakeley – sat behind the Queen.

“She is effectively being treated as a full-blown member of the Royal Family,” Roya Nikkhah, royal correspondent for The Sunday Times told NBC.

The former Suits actress recently converted her religion to the Church of England. Meghan, who sang the British National Anthem during the Commonwealth Service, will also take out British Citizenship.
