Melania Trump traveled to her future home on Thursday to take afternoon tea with its current occupier, Michelle Obama.

The meeting, which took place in the Yellow Oval Room of the White House, was off-limits to the press.

The tradition of an outgoing First Lady, giving a tour to her successor first took place in 1908 when Edith Roosevelt gave a tour to Nellie Taft. Since then the tradition has continued, despite its often awkwardness.

According to Mrs. Obama’s aides, Michelle and Melania took a tour of the White House’s private quarters before meeting up with President Obama and Donald Trump in the Oval Office. Over tea the two women apparently discussed being good parents and what to expect when raising a child in the White House. Melania and Donald Trump’s son, Barron, is only 10-years-old and will be the first son in the White House since JFK Jr.
