Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are coming back to the big screens thirty-years after Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure first hit movie theaters.

In a video announcement, the actors announced they will be joining forces once again this summer to film Bill & Ted Face the Music, the third film in the beloved comedy movie franchise.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Reeves will reprise the role of Theodore “Ted” Logan and Winter will once again play William “Bill” S. Preston, Esq. In the movie, the friends -now middle-aged – will fulfill their rock and roll destiny after a time-traveling visitor from the future arrives to warn them only a song can bring harmony to the universe and help save the world as they know it. Along the way, the duo will be helped by their families, old friends, and a few music legends.
Orion Pictures is planning to release Bill & Ted Face the Music under its United Artists banner on Aug. 21, 2020.
