Trump also referred to terrorists as “evil losers” saying, “So many young, beautiful innocent people living and enjoying their lives murdered by evil losers in life. I won’t call them monsters because they would like that term. They would think that’s a great name. I will call them from now on losers, because that’s what they are. They’re losers. And we’ll have more of them. But they’re losers. Just remember that.”
Islamic State have claimed responsibility for the attack that happened just as thousands of children, teens, young people and their parents were exiting an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena. Greater Manchester Police revealed they now know the identity of the suicide bomber and have also arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the attack.
The attack is the deadliest terror strike the UK has seen since the 2005 suicide bombings on London’s Underground train stations, which caused the death of more than 50 people.
