Just days after Amazon announced this holiday period was their most lucrative ever, President Trump took a “dumber and poorer” United States Postal Office to task on Twitter saying they should be charging Amazon “MUCH MORE.”

“Why is the United States Post Office, which is losing many billions of dollars a year, while charging Amazon and other so little to deliver their packages, making Amazon richer and the Post Office dumber and poorer?” the president tweeted. “Should be charging MUCH MORE!”

According to multiple media outlets, the United States Post Office has lost money for 11 straight years.

Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, is frequently the subject of President Trump’s tweets, in particular his newspaper The Washington Post which the president has labeled fake news.
