In a USA Today article, Roseanne Barr is placing the blame squarely on the shoulders of one of her co-stars for the cancellation of the Roseanne reboot.

According to an interview with the Washington Post, Barr blames Sara Gilbert, the actress who played daughter Darlene Conner on the show, for the cancellation.

Roseanne was cancelled after Barr sent out what many regarded as a racist tweet aimed at Obama White House advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Hours after Barr sent the offending tweet, Gilbert took to Twitter calling Barr’s comments “abhorrent” and stating Barr’s words “do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show.”

According to USA Today, Barr told the Post of Gilbert, “she destroyed the show and my life with that tweet. She will never get enough until she consumes my liver with a fine Chianti.”

Since the cancellation of Roseanne, the rest of the cast have returned to television in the series spinoff The Conners.
