Super Tuesday marked a major day for the Republican and Democratic candidates, giving the presidential hopefuls an idea on where they stand getting their names on the ballot.

Of the eleven states participating in Super Tuesday, Donald Trump took the lead in the Republican party, winning seven states, while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz won three states and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio walked away with one win in Minnesota.

Of the Democratic votes, Hillary Clinton won the majority of states, with wins in seven states and Bernie Sanders winning four states.

Following “Super Tuesday” Democrats will vote in the Kansas, Louisiana and Nebraska primaries on March 5 followed by Maine on March 6. Republicans will also vote in the Kansas and Louisiana primaries as well as Kentucky and Maine on March 5.
