It was a busy Wednesday in Indiana for presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, meeting with a handful of potential contenders vying for the running mate position.
A number of political figures were seen meeting with the real estate mogul including Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, former Speak of the House Newt Gingrich, and Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions. Sources confirmed to CNN, Trump also spent time conversing via telephone with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
It appears the race for Trump’s running mate will soon come to an end, Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort confirming to CNN, the decision would be announced on Friday in New York.
