After 20 seasons, the hit TV quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire has been canceled.

In an exclusive report from Variety, the publication revealed sources confirm the syndicated game show has not been renewed.

“After a successful 17-year run, ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ will not return in national syndication for the 2019-20 season,” a show spokesperson told Variety.

The game show first aired on ABC primetime in 1999 before moving over to syndication in 2002. According to Variety it has aired over 3,000 episodes, including 300 when it aired on ABC.

Regis Philbin was the first to host the show when it aired on ABC. After shifting to syndication Meredith Vieira took over. Since then Cedric the Entertainer, Terry Crews and Chris Harrison have all uttered the famous sentence, “Is that your final answer?”
